Soft Touch Bodywork is a trauma informed massage & herbalism practice by Ju Scott.
Ju has a passion for all beings continued sustenance and access to bliss. They are aware of how societal structures affect our ability to inhabit and connect with our bodies and believe that massage and herbalism can offer routes to our bodies, providing release, grounding and a greater sense of autonomy.
They came to holistic health practices through personal experiences of lifelong chronic health conditions, and also live in several other margins including being neurodiverse and non-binary and bring these experiences to their practice.
Ju has a background in art, music and movement and has run inclusive spaces for movement with G.O.D.S (Glasgow Open Dance School) and the Radical Bodywork Network.
They have learnt a lot from the animals they have lived with, who offer masterclasses in resting, stretching, boundaries, consent and bodily autonomy.
Ju has traditional qualifications as well as learning directly from plants, friends, courses and owes the techniques and knowledge that they practice to many people and histories including Grass Roots Remedies, Glasgow Open Dance School, Plant Medicine School, Radical Bodywork Network, Body Remedy & Plot 26.
